Doctors here in Michigan refuse to diagnose blastomycosis. They're using it to run a racket on patients. Its also known as "the mimic fungus" because it mimics so many other health conditions. So you're sick with blastomycosis, the doctors will call it something else that blasto mimics , they give you meds for the wrong condition, then you have to keep goi g to the doc. Its a racket. I've had blastomycosis since I was a kid. Self diagnosed . I'm 50 now and they refuse to diagnose with proper tests. This is dangerous stuff and I can almost guarantee people all over southeast lower Michigan have blastomycosis. We're being lied to.

Never heard of it being called Chicago's disease. Ghilchrest disease maybe.
